Also, in 2012 she was listed in the 100 most influential people in the world according to ‘Time’ magazine.
Sheryl was born into a Jewish American family and had a younger brother and sister.
Her family moved to North Miami Beach, Florida when she was only two and she attended North Miami Beach High School where she was always said to be ‘top of her class’. In 1987 Sheryl then enrolled at Harvard College and graduated in 1991 with a B.A in economics and was also awarded the John H. Williams Prize for the top graduating student in economics.
Before Facebook, Sheryl was Vice President of Global Online Sales and Operations at Google; she was involved in launching Google’s philanthropic arm Google.org; before Google Sheryl served as chief staff for the United States Secretary of the Treasury.
