Andrew's career began at the age of sixteen when he joined Vidal Sassoon. He remained there for 8 years and during this time received many accolades and earned respect among his peers, as the youngest stylist and staff trainer. Andrew opened his first salon in the cult shop, Hyper-Hyper, the place to shop at the time. 1995 saw the opening of the eagerly awaited Charlotte Street salon and 2002 the Prague and salon training school. It is here that he shares his expertise with the world's aspiring stylists.

Throughout his career Andrew has been able to identify with the needs of his clients, women who often prize style over fashion. It is this ability to bring out women's personal style that has resulted in six nominations for Hairdresser of the Year. Andrew's relaxed approach to hairdressing means he is in constant demand. His photographic work includes Patrick Dermacheller, Tim Brett - Day and Ellen von Unworth. His editorial work includes Wallpaper, Paris Match, The Sunday Times Style and the Financial Times.
Andrew's passion and lifestyle are reflected in his new ranges. J. Life was inspired by Andrew's love of surfing and winter sports, while Healthy Hair reflects the belief that hair hs to be healthy to form the basis of a great style. Andrew lives in Maida Vale with his partner and two daughters.
Of his future aspirations Andrew says:
"With my knowledge I would like to help everyone look their best. Hair should not be something to hide behind, but something that defines your personality."
