Beverly was awarded the MBE by the Queen in 2008 and was British Hairdresser of the year (twice!) in 2001 and 2002 - the first female to win the award. She also won London Hairdresser of the Year in 87/88 and 88/89, was awarded Best British Hairdresser in 1990 in Japan and received the British Masters Award in Australia in 2005. Beverly was vice president of the Fellowship in 2001 and president of the Fellowship in 2002 and 2003. She was also patron of HABIA from 2002 till 2004.
Consultancy and education:
Beverly has travelled since the early eighties continuously teaching and presenting across the globe to groups of 20 to 2,000 and has represented all the major manufacturers in many countries including the Far East, Italy, Germany, Spain and America. She's also been involved in product development, press launches and trends predictions for the last 20 years and is currently a creative brand ambassador for Goldwell, Babyliss and Nourkrin.
TV appearances:
Beverly has recently starred as chief judge in the BBC programme ‘Young Hairdresser of the Year' and already this year has been on the road with the GMTV makeover team. Beverly was the resident stylist for two years on How Do I look with Ulrika Johnson for LWT, appeared several times on the Living Channel, was a hairdressing expert on Britain's Worst Hairdresser programme for Channel 4 in 2005 and is a regular on GMTV and This Morning.
She was a consultant to the programme The Salon for Channel 4 and she has also been a regular on 10 Years Younger and appeared on the panel for the Sky programme Asbo Teen to Beauty Queen
Press:
Beverly is a regular columnist and hair expert for the consumer and national beauty press and has worked as a session stylist on many fashion titles and behind the scenes at Fashion Weeks around the globe. Her hair images have appeared in literally hundreds of consumer titles in the UK and worldwide.
Passion:
Beverly's extra-special expertise is in ‘making real women look and feel beautiful', whatever their age, or stage in life. She is especially passionate about helping women with thinning hair look and feel fabulous and is launching a campaign to raise awareness of the problem and offer solutions.
