After serving as the Artistic Director and Principle Trainer for one of London's top hairstyling academies, Carney was tapped by the undisputed masters of hair artistry, Trevor Sorbie and Eugene Soleiman, to join Sorbie's legendary Covent Garden salon, where he not only served as Principle of Education but received the education of a lifetime.
Since then, Carney has traveled the globe, collaborating with photographers Gilles Bensimon, Ellen von Unwerth, Norman Watson, Rankin and David Slijper.
