Biography of James Tetlow
Educator and Star StylistThroughout his professional career, James has won numerous hairdressing awards and was shortlisted three times for The Regional British Hairdressing Award. His innate cutting and colouring skills are implemented throughout the salon with training and education delivered to all staff members.
“I wanted to instil a progressive and positive attitude to our team's work by making the salon environment friendly, open and encouraging” Says James. “I believe the only way to get the best from your team is by them taking pride in where they work and that is by motivating them with training and inspiration. Their well-being is paramount to the business because it resonates with the clients who're always commenting on how enthusiastic my stylists are.”
James' passion for education and excellence led him to introduce into his salon, an exclusive to salon professional hair company that reflects his exacting standards: Like James, The Colomer Group, who manufacture and supply Professional Hairdressing products such as, Revlon Professional, Orofluido and American Crew, firmly believe that training leads to further development of the relationship between the client and stylist and is parallel to retail profit increase.
The Colomer Group in the UK have identified in James Tetlow, his deep passion for personal growth which can only be found in training and consequently signed him up to be one of their UK Educators. He will also be working closely with salons and individuals to improve and develop their skills and build the brand.
