In his extensive role as International Creative and Artistic Director, Jason Miller is regarded as one of the UK's most influential hair designers with a consistent quality, style and energy at the leading edge of hairdressing. Having entered the family business over 30 years ago he is passionate about the industry and commands an extensive and varied clientele list whilst playing an integral part in the running, development and growth of this world-renowned hairdressing brand. Founded 50 years ago by his father Charlie, the company now boasts 5 successful Edinburgh salons, a training academy and a host of industry accolades.

Spearheading the Charlie Miller Artistic Team with his wife India since the mid-90s Jason and India's extensive schedule has been packed with a wide range of innovative and stimulating industry shows, seminars and workshops that has seen them work from Europe to America, South Africa to Korea, the Middle East and in Asia. From imaginative photographic works published in the world's leading hair magazines to advertorial and editorial photo shoots for L'Oréal Professionnel published in top titles such as Vogue, She and Marie Claire their inspiring work continually influences and motivates. Jason is also regularly called upon to judge prestigious competitions such as the prestigious UK and Irish L'Oréal Colour Trophy and the British Hairdressing Awards.

Holder of numerous industry honours including a place in the British Hairdressing Awards' ‘Hall of Fame' in recognition of three times winning the British Hairdressing Awards' ‘Scottish Hairdresser of the Year' title with his wife India, Jason has also won ‘Newcomer of the Year' and received the AIPP ‘Grand Trophy' and ‘Best Avant-Garde Fashion Collection'.

Session work includes ‘heading the looks' at the MTV Europe Music Awards for the past 12 years as well as commissioned work for the Financial Times ‘How to Spend it Magazine'. Aside from the many demands from industry bodies and organisations throughout the world, the Charlie Miller Artistic Team's talent and expertise is frequently called upon on a local level to create hairstyling for many high profile events including the Edinburgh International Film Festival as well as numerous charity fashion events.

Inspired by art, fashion and photography Jason continues to stretch the modern vision to ensure that the hairdressing industry in the UK continues to be recognised as the best in the world.
