Co-owner of Mayfair’s premier hairdressing haven and London Hairdresser of the Year 2005 Finalist salonWith over two decades of industry experience, Lisa is a seasoned hairdresser, educator and motivational manager. Trained from the tender age of sixteen by twice British Hairdresser of the Year Beverly C, Lisa worked alongside the industry icon for fifteen years. As well as travelling the world as part of the internationally acclaimed Cobella Artistic Team, Lisa was awarded the prestigious position of Educational Manager relishing the responsibility of training all staff members for the salon floor and stunning stage shows. The inspirational instructors' skills were so well renowned that she was also handpicked to join the ‘Schwarzkopf Asia Team' delivering cutting and colouring seminars to sold-out audiences across the Far East. Such was the interest in Lisa that a TV programme was even made about her hairdressing courses in China!
After enjoying an incredible career at one of the country's most successful salons, in 2003 Lisa decided it was time to go it alone. The formidable female teamed up with partner and former Cobella manager Darren Webster and Webster Whiteman was born. Famous for it's unpretentious and warm atmosphere, the Mayfair based hairdressing retreat provides Lisa with a platform to showcase her endless talents. From creative cuts and edgy extensions to beautiful blow-dries, this celebrated stylist can do it all.
Today, Lisa's versatility has made her a hairdresser in demand. Whether it's transforming readers for magazine makeovers or translating runway styles into practical everyday looks, Lisa's unique talent enables her to cater for each client's
individual needs.
But the future is looking even brighter for Lisa. Despite securing a place in the finals of the British Hairdressing Awards 2005 with her first entry and being nominated for Newcomer of the Year at the British Hairdressing Business Awards less than two years after opening, Lisa is more determined than ever to raise awareness of the salon. 2008 will see her entering more competitions, styling for London Fashion Week and delivering educational courses worldwide. Work which is sure to cement the Webster Whiteman name firmly on the hairdressing map.
