Hard core hair professional Steve Turner has perfected his skills through decades of pioneering hair adventures. He continuously contributes his passion and dedication to crafting new approaches to hair and moves seamlessly from trade to consumer work. He's been in the industry since the tender age of 15 and loved every minute of it.
He had his own salon at the age of 21 and by 24 was travelling the world doing both session and salon work before joining forces with his old friend Lee Stafford. His award winning work has taken in everything from TV, international shows and seminars. Steve finds inspiration everywhere, and has a talent for giving a precise identity to the street styles of youth, combining it with the attitude to precision of his hero Vidal Sassoon.
As a founding member of the Lee Stafford Empire – holding positions from art director to creative director he is one of the hardest working and motivated people in the industry and tirelessly contributes his talents to educating others. His hard working ethos carries over into an enthusiasm for everything he does and a boundless passion for life.
Along with Lee and Stacey Broughton, Steve is a founder of myhairdressers, a project he believes is the future of hair education. He never stands still and always looks out for the next big idea, his infectious energy keeps the whole team on its toes.
Steve is the guiding light of myhairdressers, producing the syllabus, and providing creative direction. As well as producing videos and performing workshops its Steve's job to ensure he educational standard is maintained and upheld.
