Caroline asks:

My hair becomes too hard and tough after exposing to direct sun. And I don’t like that type of hair. I need some useful tips to make my hair smooth and shiny.

Use a professional moisturising shampoo, conditioner and mask, this will restore hair from sun damage and dryness. Balmain Paris have a new Moisturising, range which really will keep your hair smooth, shiny and soft. After this a key factor would be to use a good straightening /blow drying lotion on wet hair before blow drying. I would recommend Satin Design by Shu Uemura . If you want to completely avoid dull dried out hair caused by the sun wear a hat or use a leave in sun protector - there are so many available on the market now.

blonde hair generally looks great grown out . I would recommend keeping your fringe really long and the sides tailored to about two to three inches .Use minimum product and you will get a cool surfy young Leonardo Di Caprio style. This look is very on trend right now sexy but strong!

Ian asks:

Hi, please give me some advice. I am 25 and receding a bit at the front, I would like a trendy hair style that is a bit shorter and with more style that I can mess up a bit when I go out at night. I like to be fashionable and really want to reduce the obvious receding can you recommend something that might suit me - I have quite a long face which seems to make the receding worse. My hair is quite boring and needs a good cut at the moment.

If your forehead is becoming more prominent I would cut the hair short all over while slightly tapering the back and sides. Also I would recommend hair paste – apply to hair to make it messy by distributing throughout – then smooth down sides and back. This minimises the appearance of hair loss because of the rough texture and extra volume.
