Chelsea Flower Show Inspired Hair
Flower Power Curls
✂ Start by washing your hair with a volumizing shampoo and conditioner.✂ Towel dry and scrunch in a volumising moose or work through a curl enhancing gel to bring out your hair's natural wave and body.
✂ Next, take a hairdryer and attach a diffuser nozzle, blasting the hair upwards on a medium heat, lifting from the roots to encourage volume.
✂ For this style, the curls need to look as natural and organic as possible, so make sure to vary the width of sections of hair to curl with a curling tong.
✂ Once curled, section hair into a deep side parting and gently brush through curls with a soft bristle brush.
✂ Gather the loose hair on the side with less volume, pull backwards and twist, securing with bobby pins matching the colour of your tresses.
✂ Finish by clipping the hair and securing into place with your favourite floral hair piece. A hair comb slide works best for this look and the more flowers the better!
Sky-High Floral Ribbon Bun
✂ To create this sleek and chic look, avoid washing your hair for a day or two.✂ Start by brushing hair backwards, removing any knots and making smooth.
✂ Spritz a flexible hold hairspray all over the hair and rub one to two drops of Moroccan/argan oil between the palms of your hands and run through, from root to tip.
✂ Next, gather your hair and pull back into a high pony tail, the higher the better! Be sure to use a soft bristle brush to keep hair as smooth and as slick as possible.
✂ Once secured, twist the ponytail around your finger until tight then wrap around the base of the ponytail, covering the band.
✂ Secure the bun with another hair tie, making sure the band matches the colour of your natural hair. Use bobby pins to fasten and hairs that stick out. .
✂ Find a long piece of ribbon in the colour of your choice, wrap around the base of your bun twice and fasten in a knot and neat bow underneath the bun.
✂ Leave the two loose ends of the ribbon to hang down the nape of your neck and back, trim so they fall just between your two shoulder blades or of desired length.
✂To finish, you can either using real flowers and secure with pins or a flower hair band, wrapping around the top half of your bun.
Boho Floral Braids
✂ This on✂trend messy braid is a perfect relaxed, boho look, ideal for a festival or summer garden soirée.✂ This works best on unwashed hair, as the braids will need some hold. Start by spraying a dry shampoo through your hair and a hair texturizer, to create a messy and matted base.
✂ Take the hair into a deep side parting, sweeping all the hair to one side allowing it to fall over your shoulder.
✂ Section off a thick piece of your loose hair, but not all of it and begin your first braid, don't worry about keeping it neat, the more the messy the better.
✂ Take three or four more sections of the loose hair, making sure they all vary in width and braid. Tie off with a clear bands
✂ Fan or pull on each side of the braids all the way down for fullness.
✂ Take a flower broach, or hair clip and fasten to the side, just above the top of your ear.
✂ Pull a few strands to hair to loosely fall around the face.
