There are many reasons that your hair is thinning - most of the reasons are diet, hormones or stress related. Go to any good chemist like Boots etc and buy Nourkrin extra strength - it is a supplement that needs to be taken daily - you will see a total difference within months. Next, you need to opt for a shorter style - bob length or slightly longer, as it sounds to me as if your hair is quite long. Going shorter will give the appearance of thicker hair.

If your colour is fading to reveal grey hair then this is possibly because your current colour is not right for you. However, if the grey that you are noticing is appearing at the roots then this is your natural re-growth coming through. Noticing your natural re-growth within 3 weeks of getting your coloured done could mean that the colour you are using is simply too dark, revealing your grey roots quicker as the colour difference is making it more noticeable. A good option would be to incorporate some highlights through the sides or lighten the base tone to reduce the contrast in colour, therefore not showing up your grey tones as quickly. This could give you greater longevity in your colour and give a more balanced look once your natural grey starts appearing.

As you have bleach lightened hair with few low lights, you MUST pre-pigment your hair first - using a copper red colour wash. This can be a strong copper semi colour. Once this has been put through your hair for at least 20 mins, shampoo off and dry through. Now your hair is ready to have a beautiful brunette permanent colour - My advice is to choose a base 6 rather than a 5 as most of the time the colour result will be darker than the base you have chosen. Also choose a brunette that has a hint of warmth to keep feeding the bleached hair. If you do not pre- pigment the hair first, it will turn green.
