Can thinking of hair growth work?
70% people tested out to see if this principle works agree with this. Ancient Indian or Ayurvedic sages have said that everything happens twice in life- first in the mind then in reality. In other words visualize the hair and health you want. “This of course should only supplement the Hair Retention Plan or natural hair loss products you may be using”, says Ravi Bhanot from Nutrigro, who conducted the survey.
Before going to sleep every night trial participants were told to visualize the type of hair and health they wanted to have. In bed they closed their eyes looked about 30 degrees (10 pm clock position of a clock) in an upward direction. It is thought that we look at the future in an optimistic light doing this. They were told to make the vision in colour - bright, large and alive - almost as though they could touch, feel and see it. They were asked to add as much clarity to it as they could - including the colour of the hair you would like, its texture, thickness and style.
They were asked to dream of their vision last thing before sleeping and to affirm to themselves, ideally speaking aloud ‘I have lovely healthy, strong hair and great health’. Optionally they were instructed to have a photo or picture of how they would like to look like stuck somewhere they could see every day, like on a cupboard door or on their computer and told to allow your subconscious to help you reach your goal.
Further instructions were given:
Relax more
Do activities that made the person feel happy such as reading or laughing.
Be positive
Avoid negative news- do not keep looking at news all day long as the saying goes ‘bad news makes readable news!”. Associate with happy people or those who have a positive outlook to life. Read books and articles that are positive in nature.
Write it down!
Write out your complaints or troubles on one page and on the other side of the page write the answer(s) to your problem. It is amazing how resourceful we are. If you can’t think of the answers have some fresh air before writing, sleep on it or ask some friends for their opinions.
Have a massage
Have a head a massage such as an Ayurvedixpro® Ayurvedic or Swedish head massage to relax muscles and increase blood flow to skin and muscles. This would also help relieve mental and emotional stress.
Be Firm
Learn to say no when you don’t want to do something or you have imposed unrealistic demands on yourself. Be honest with yourself.
Say it correctly
It is not what you say but how you say it - learn to say something effectively without offending others.
Think correctly
You can only change yourself - avoid saying or thinking “if only he, if only she, if only they”. Rather think more "what can I change about myself to make my situation better."
Accept the situation
Sometimes accepting that things are the way they are and you cannot do anything about the situation helps.
Try this and see for yourself.
