If it's all about volume how can we use extensions to best achieve the look?

Volume can be achieved with added hair. Trial with clip-in pieces to the crown, such as Balmain Hair B-Loved, then go for a more permanent option if you're happy with the results. The front of the hair is often fine so use clip-in pieces for more volume - and go for permanent bonds after your trial. More volume also gives the look of length.

How can you use extension fringes to re-create your hairstyle?

Clip-in fringes are a great way to totally change your look. A fringe can be trialled with no commitment to scissors; really fun looks can be created with clip in fringes! If you enjoy your new look then a fringe can be cut in.



Are clip-in ponies glam enough to wear in the evenings?

Ponytails are great for glamour. Either slick back the hair at the front, with heavy make-up for a rock chic look, or backcomb the hair at the crown for volume and then attach a ponytail for a looser undone look. Alternatively ponies can be clipped round into a chignon for a more elegant look. The pony can also be curled or plaited - they are so versatile!

What are the easiest type of hair pieces to wear that still look natural?

There are so many application methods that are natural looking, just make sure you select quality extensions companies that offer perfect colour matches! Go for easy strand application - a clear strand that is not visible when applied; clip-in - where the clips are hidden or tape applications that are very flat, easy to apply and look very natural.

Is it true that using specialist extension hair products helps them to last a lot longer?

When a professional extensionist is talking about products, they are helping you to keep your extensions in tip-top condition, which will also prolong the life of your added hair. Bristle brushes also prevent the hair from matting.
