Spring - Summer 2015 Hairstyling Trends By Carly Aplin

One of my personal favourites this Spring/Summer 2015 season was the Celine show. I loved the simplicity of the hair, which flowed with the garment design, highlighting the straight, structured lines with a feminine twist. Half-up, half-down styles are certainly making a comeback for the new season – a client's minimal centre parting can be easily transformed in this way for a chic look that's easy to recreate at home.

Every season, Stella McCartney showcases styles that would benefit every woman's wardrobe and Spring/Summer 2015 was no exception. Sharp middle partings were the main focus with a loose, grunge feel towards the end of the hair. The bold, auburn tones shining through the hair are a great way to experiment with colour and will look equally as hot moving into autumn.

At Kenzo, I loved the models' sleek silhouettes and heavy fringes – the hair looked slick but was transformed with the sweeping fringe over the forehead. I would brush the remaining hair into a tight ponytail or twisted style, so the emphasis remains firmly at the front.
