Lily Rose Allen, born 2 May 1985 is the daughter of comedian Keith Allen and Alison Owen. She grew up in Hammersmith, London, where she was expelled from various schools. Lily ended up attending 13 different schools between the ages of 5 and 15. Lily finally left school when she was 15 years old to concentrate only on her music as her creative needs were not being met. She then signed to Parlophone in December 2005. Lily also earned nominations for British Breakthrough Act and British Female Solo for 2006’s Brit Awards, while "Smile" and Alright, Still were nominated for British Single and British Album, respectively. In February 2007 British fashion chain New Look announced that Lily Allen will design a range of clothes for them. The range, titled "Lily Loves", featured six dresses, two pairs of shoes and some brightly coloured accessories.
