Michelle Keegan was born 3 June 1987 in London. She is an English actress who played Tina McIntyre in the soap opera Coronation Street 2008-2014.

She attended St Patrick’s RC High School and the Manchester School of Acting and was turned down for a part in Hollyoaks. Michelle worked at Selfridges in the Trafford Centre shopping mall and as a check-in agent at Manchester Airport. She also had a small cameo appearance in Red Dwarf: Back to Earth.

On 14 June 2009 Michelle made her radio debut co-hosting the BBC Radio 1 programme The Official Chart with Reggie Yates.

Michelle was on the cover of FHM Magazine in January 2011 and was voted #30 in the FHM 100 Sexiest Women poll in 2010. Michelle has a brother called Andrew

In late 2007, in only her second-ever audition, she was offered the chance to play the part of Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street, and accepted the role and she still plays this character to present day.

Michelle Keegan dated Hollyoaks actor Anthony Quinlan from 2006 to 2008 and model Brad Howard from 2008 to 2010. She begun dating Max George from the boy band ‘The Wanted’ in December 2010 but the couple split in 2012. She began dating Mark Wright in December 2012; the couple confirmed their engagement in September 2013
