How to style your quiff in ten minutes

Sometimes, you're in a rush and don't have time to pomp up your hair before rushing out of the door. Never fear though, for Ted has a ten-minute manual to the perfect quick-fire quiff.



The standard steps to styling a quiff include, hair wash, blow and finger work. But you don't have time for the hair wash, so let's focus on the last two.



Before going to work with the blow dryer, dampen your high slightly throughout the front of the hairline, and work upwards and back to make sure each individual hair is moistened.



Then, turn your blowdryer on a low heat so as not to create too much stiffness, and dry your hair from the roots up, pinching with your fingers create the lift that is essential for a successful quiff. This helps create the general shape you are looking for.




Take a pea-sized amount of Ted's Hair Putty and work into the lifted hairline until there are no visible lumps. Then, form your hand into a claw shape, and approaching from behind, pull assertively on the hairs in an up and over direction. This helps you to gain a tall, confident quiff that has a more refined shape. Finish up by moulding your now malleable hair into the exact height and direction you are looking for. Pinching the hair-tips a third time will provide vital definition to this style.
