vintage Rolls Royce. She walked down the aisle on the arm of her father, Anthony,
while organist Gerard Patterson played the ‘Bridal Chorus’ by Wagner. A thousand
lit white candles filled the church and Nicole’s family priest, Father Paul Coleman
officiated at the hour long Catholic service.
Nicole cried on the way to the church and throughout the ceremony. She kept her
veil over her face through much of the ceremony, lifting it to exchange vows.
Nicole’s sister Antonia Hawley was the matron of honour and Nicole’s daughter
Isabella Cruise was a bridesmaid. Antonia’s daughter, Lucia, was a flower girl.
Keith’s brother Shane was his best man.
The mothers of the couple lit a unity candle during the hour long service.
The chapel bells rang for five minutes after the ceremony and the newlyweds walked
up the aisle to ‘Ode to Joy’ by Beethoven, while guests threw white rose petals.

Music was supplied by the 16-piece Sydney All-Star Big Band, Hugh Jackman sang
an Australian tune and Neil Finn, formerly of Crowded House, also sang. However,
the main highlight of the evening came when Keith serenaded his bride with his
hit ‘Making Memories of Us’.
Guests received Tiffany & Co desk clocks with the inscription: ‘A Moment in Time,

Even the waiting paparazzi were presented with a case of 24 cold Victoria Bitter

Jacuzzi, pool and 24-hour butler service.
Eva Longoria and Tony Parker were on holiday in the villa next door. They had
gone to enjoy some quiet, private time together and found the world’s media camped
out off-shore.

Engagement: Keith proposed at Christmas 2005 and they were engaged for
six months, before marrying in June 2006. Her engagement ring in an antique-style
with three stone round brilliant-cut diamonds.
Where did they meet? They met in January 2005, at a gala dinner in Los
Angeles that honoured noted Australians. Both Nicole and Keith were brought up
in Australia, although she was actually born in Hawaii and he was born in New
Zealand.
By the summer of 2005 they had become a couple and were described an inseparable
on his “Keith’s Alive in ‘05” tour.
History: This is the first marriage for Keith, though he was engaged to
Laura Sigler after an 8-year relationship. They split up allegedly through his
drug problems.
Nicole was previously married to actor Tom Cruise for 11 years. She has two adopted
children with Tom, called Isabella Jane and Connor Antony.
Four months after Nicole and Keith married, he entered rehab to receive treatment
for alcohol abuse.
Nicole gave birth to Keith’s daughter ‘Sunday Rose’ in 2008 and they had further
daughter called Faith Margaret through a surrogate mother (Nicole and Keith are
the child’s biological parents).
Keith bought Nicole a special Cartier diamond trinity ring, worth £35,000, after
the birth of their first daughter. Three entwined gold bands set with multi-coloured
pave diamonds to symbolise the three stages of a relationship. Yellow gold for
friendship, rose gold for love and white gold for fidelity.
An odd choice perhaps, as Tom Cruise’s current wife Katie Holmes, also has the
same ring.
