vows with just 4 guests present; Rachel’s five-year-old son, Daniel’s 18-year-old
daughter and two friends acting as witnesses, who owned the house were the ceremony

The 4 guests included Rachel’s five-year-old son Henry from her previous relationship
with film director Darren Aronofsky, Daniels’ 18-year-old daughter Ella, from
his first marriage, and two close friends.
Engagement: It’s unclear when the couple became engaged, though they did
enjoy a romantic break in Paris the month before the wedding and a source said:
"They are madly in love and couldn’t wait to be husband and wife - they wanted minimum fuss."
Where did they meet? The couple have been friends since 2004 and they met
up again in the autumn of 2010, when they played husband and wife in the film
Dream House. According to a longtime friend of Rachel, the chemistry between the
pair during filming of Dream House was instantaneous. They clicked at a physical
and mental level, both sharing a love of literature, discussing and exploring
new ideas.
They spent Christmas in a rented cottage in Dorset, UK and were seen cuddled up together in front of the fire at a country pub on Christmas Eve 2010.
History: Daniel’s previous marriage was in the early 1990s, to Scottish
actress Fiona Loudon, the mother of his daughter Ella. He was subsequently in
a seven-year relationship with Heike Makatsch (a German actress) and then a five-year
relationship with film producer Satsuki Mitchell, but they split in 2010.
This is the first marriage for Rachel, who broke up with director Darren Aronofsky shortly before meeting Daniel on the set of the film Dream House. Darren and Rachel were together for nine years and engaged for five of them. They have a son called Henry, born May 2006.
