at the crown.
Vows: The couple’s vows were exchanged in a non-denominational ceremony
– officiated by their director friend, Adam Shankman. They originally planned
to marry in an outdoor beach ceremony, but rain forced them to change to a private
villa, Sol Del Oriente.
Dress by: Vera Wang – strapless, layered ivory gown and long train. Changing
later to a white dress with a cut-away short hemline at the front and worn with
white flipflops.
Bouquet: White roses and ribbons
Groom’s attire: Sy Devore – white linen suit. Later he wore a loose white
shirt, white trousers and went barefoot.
Reception: The reception was held overlooking Playa Blanca. Circular tables
were dressed with white linen, white flowers and votive candles. Guests were served
filet mignon, lobster tails and egg rolls. A local baker created a four-tier vanilla
wedding cake decorated with rosebuds.
After the couple shared the first dance, the guests danced to traditional Mexican
music. The couple left the wedding at 3am as guests showered them with rose petals.

Honeymoon: The couple stayed in Mexico for their honeymoon.
Cost: The wedding paid for itself as the couple received a six-figure sum
from Hello magazine for giving them exclusive rights to cover the event. The couple
said they would not make any profit out of the deal, as any money left over would
be donated to a animal charity.
Number of guests: 60 guests joined the couple’s four-day wedding celebration
Special guests: Shannon Doherty, Wilmer Valderrama and Dule Hill.
Engagement: Freddie and Sarah became engage at her 24th birthday party
in April 2001 – they were engaged for 17 months, before they married.
Where did they meet? Sarah met Freddie while filming the 1997 teen horror
film “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, though they didn’t begin dating until
2000.
History: This is the first marriage for both. Sarah did not change her
name to Prinz until their fifth anniversary.
Their daughter Charlotte Grace was born in 2009.
