Shazia asks:
I am 25 years old female my only problem is my thin hair, I am fed
up of hiding my thin hair from others. Also I cannot make any style. I want to change my style, I have visited many salons but no one can satisfy me. On the upper portion of my head my hairs are very less how can I overcome my problem please give me some advice and a nice hair style.

It sounds to me that you would be better of going towards something shorter. To make the upper portion of your hair look thicker I think a very good style is a graduated and slightly layered shorter bob. With the graduation in the back area that will support and push up the top hair and give it more body and make all of your hair look thicker. I would also just slightly layer the top area to emphasise more body and thickness. I would keep the bottom line of the hair cut blunt and sharp. The length of the hair cut all depends of what suits your face shape and obviously that would be best to make it look as thick as possible.
Ellie asks:
I have a widows peak and it loves to cause me problems! I find it so hard to have a fringe I managed one for a while, but it was very
tedious styling and liked to split in the middle due to my widows peak. Is there any style that is very manageable and much more interesting than just an off centre parting?

Side parting fringes will always be much easier to control with your problem. Also a thicker heavier fringe would always be easier. Now if your problem is because its a directional 'widows peak try to blow dry it in the opposite direction to where the hair wants to go.
Jean asks:
I am 62. Have short fine fair hair. Good condition now. No perm for 1 year but would like something gentle to make hair look thicker and easier to style. Also have fine highlights. What sort of perm would you recommend.
Answered By: Anthony Holland
I think a root perm would be the best option this gives a bit of a kick at the roots which gives the hair body. Also try styling your hair different like changing the parting or direction you wear your hair. This can also effect how thick your hair can look. You would probably be best asking your hairdresser about the styles as she will be able to help you more.
