How does Medik8 fade thread veins & bruises?
Vitamin K is an essential blood clotting factor. Without vitamin K in our bloodstreams, body injuries would never heal. We get all our vitamin K from foodstuffs such as spinach and tomatoes. When tiny blood vessels near the surface of the skin get damaged - a small tear can develop which leaks blood.

The blood runs down the outside of the vessels rather like a drop of water running down the side of a pencil. That's how you can see the "Thread Vein". Vitamin K can be applied topically to help the torn vessel heal fast. The body then dissolves the remaining leaked blood naturally - fading the appearance of Thread Veins and bruises which result from muscle fibre tears.

4. Six different essential oils are included to maximize the trans-cutaneous absorption (absorption across the skin barrier) of the formulation meaning your skin receives much more of the active ingredients.
5. Medik8 Serum is packaged in an airless pump system so as to eliminate oxidation of the ingredients before reaching you. Again this maximizes the effectiveness of the cream.

How quick can it work for you?
It is impossible for anyone to predict how long vitamin K treatment will take to fade existing thread veins. Anecdotal evidence shows that most people will need to use the Serum formula for between 2 to 4 months before full fading is observed.
