I am hoping for a bit of advice on keeping my hair to stay up in the style I want and the best products to do so. I can get it to how I want it but know for a fact it will jut fall back down. I've used so many things in the past but they're just useless. I've tried fiber putty, rework gum etc just generally things like that but they never do the job as advertised.

My hair is medium length and medium thickness. This is pretty much how my hair looks below:
