The Hair Knot

Divide the sides of the hair and keep the top and middle separate.

Tie the sides together in a single ponytail.

Pull the lengths of the ponytail through underneath the elastic.

Make a simple knot with the piece of ponytail that has been pulled up and the rest of middle part.

Like an African braid, take the two strands from step 4 and make more knots, each time adding some of the loose strands from the top of the head. Make knots starting from the nape to the front.

Tie the last piece with a small rubber band and fix with a pin.
