Lynn asks:
I have fine past the shoulders (long hair) it is layered with bangs and it is fly-away. I have tried spraying my brush, using a spray
conditioner and a regular conditioner, but to no avail. The
conditioner weighs my hair down and I cannot get any body or fullness. It ends up looking like a wet poodle that used a straightening iron. I am a professional and I need help. I also want my hair to look thick and full. After everything, my hair is still fly away. I also have coloured or higlighted hair. Please help with an answer.

Even poodles get groomed from time to time and often end up displaying a lovely and sometime visually challenging style. Everyones hair can be managed it is just a case of finding out which products, method and daily care programme you need to apply each day or week to end up with the manicured look you want. Hair extensions can help if they are applied as hair enhancement to help add volume and texture to your own head of hair. It is very important to select the right type of extension method, one that will not damage your hair at the root especially on removal. It does not help to use too many different products or too many products at once, they may clash with each other and contribute to some of the problems you have described. Find a brand and use the items your need from that brand. If your hair is dry use a moisturising product, if your hair is greasy then use a product that will help this situation. We have consultants around the country, if you would like to discuss a hair enhancement program, please send us an email and we will direct you to the nearest consultant.
Finally, with the right help, you will achieve your overall objective.
Chanel asks:
My hair gets greasy really easy and every time I wash it, nothing seems to help. What am I doing wrong or is there a shampoo and/or conditioner you can recommend?

The best thing for you to do for overly greasy hair is to use a shampoo especially for greasy hair that has a built in conditioner as adding separate conditioner will over make your hair more greasy. I advise that you shampoo daily with Razzamatazz 3 in 1 shampoo.
Pamela asks:
My hair is natural wavy. I straighten my hair everyday but I rarely use protection spray as they leave my hair greasy and I think the straighteners are damaging my hair. If I go out when it is damp or
foggy my hair goes wavy and really frizzy. Also I want to grow my hair but I cannot afford extensions and whenever my hair gets to a certain length it seems to go really dry do you have any tips or suggestions that could help.

I am afraid your hair is dry and brittle because you are using heated appliances without protecting you hair. You really must use a heat protection spray if you are using irons or hairdryers. GHD has launched 3 thermal protectors for different hair textures so I am sure one of these would be suitable. It may also be that you are spraying the product too close to the roots, try to focus on the mid to ends of the hair and this should stop the greasy effect. Hair extensions are a great way to have instant length - you could consider trying synthetic hair extensions as they are less expensive than real hair and can still look amazing as long as they are applied by a good extensionist. Racoon promote both real hair and synthetic hair and have over 2000 salons nationwide. Call 01295 770999 for your nearest salon.
