Love life: Is engaged to journalist Keely Shaye-Smith with whom he has a son, Dylan Thomas. His late wife Cassandra Harris, who was a Bond girl in For Your Eyes Only, died of Ovarian cancer in 1991; they met in 1970 and married in 1977.
