At age 24, Reese Witherspoon seems to have it all. With hit movie roles, looks and a great brain to boot, life is going very smoothly for the Nashville-born actress. On 9 September 1999, Reese had her baby, it was a girl and they named her Ava Elizabeth. It took them a week AFTER the baby was born to pick the perfect name (Thanks to Steve and Sharon Carnell for emailing me this info).
The daughter of 2 physicians, Reese's secret ambition was to become a pediatric surgeon. But fate took its course and Reese made her big screen debut (at just 14!) in The Man In The Moon. After a string hit of movies, including Pleasantville, Reese stars opposite Matthew Broderick in her latest movie Election.
