Separate a quarter of the ponytail hair into a separate, smaller section.

each section of ponytail hair separately. Clipping one out of the way while you

Take the small section of tonged hair and wrap round base of ponytail.
Tuck ends in and grip in place.

Take remaining larger section of tonged hair and lightly backcomb.
