Hailee Steinfeld
HOLLYWOOD glamour was in abundance at this year's Oscar ceremony.
The ladies took a trip back to the classics with their wave
inspired styles.
Hailee Steinfeld framed her pretty face perfectly with a classic
updo which while looking impressive, is not difficult at all.
After washing, blow dry your hair in sections.
This ensures a glossy, sleek finish which is a great
base for this style.
When you're finished, blast your hair with a
cool shot (if you have one on your hairdryer) If not,
wait just a few minutes for your hair to cool and settle
into place.
Use a shine spray (e.g. Orofluido
Shine Spray) and comb through to the ends. |

|
An easy shortcut here is to brush all your hair into
a pontytail, just on the crown and secure with a band. This
is a great cheat to make sure it holds through the night -
just like the Oscars!
Taking two inch sections and beginning at the top of
your ponytail, spray with hairspray, comb through and begin
to roll. A tip here is to flatten the section and roll it
around your fist. This makes sure each 'roll' is roughly the
same size.
Secure with pins and spray in place.
Repeat this step for the rest of your ponytail and
be creative about where you place the rolls. Entwine one or
two of your sections to add a bohemian flare.
As Hailee did, finish this classic style with an eye-catching
band or fascinator.
