Halle Berry
ALTHOUGH actress Halle Berry has a cropped haircut - she still
managed to va va voom it up with some clever tonging.
This style is great with short hair - even if
it’s several inches long. It’s all about how you tong
it at the root.
The key is to tong your hair from the back of
the crown in small sections and ensuring you don’t ’drag’
it flat.
With a pair of straighteners, |
|
|
clamp as close to the root
as you can - being careful not to burn your hands - it may
clash with your red nail polish! Pull the section taut and
upwards at a 90º angle. As you come to the end, slightly bend
the hair.
Use a heat protection spray (e.g. ghd
Thermal Protection Spray) and work your way to the front.
I would use a little mousse when you’re done (e.g.
Revlon Pro You Volume Mousse.)
Just a 50p size as a base before you use a soft clay (e.g.
Therapi Session Clay) to
finish the Golden Globe look off.
