Always wanted to know how Cheryl gets so much volume, how Pixie gets her shiny locks or how to achieve Kesha's messy 'dos? Then follow our top tips and make your own glamorous hair statement.

I’ll show you step-by-step how to achieve the most talked about celebrity hairstyles from glamourous red carpet updos to the hottest catwalk trends...........

Jaime Winstone

Actress Jaime Winstone attended the opening of the Acne London Studio recently and her sparkling blonde hair complimented her white dress beautifully.

• For a funky, messy look, try to finger dry or blow dry without using brushes. Then roughly you use your fingers through your hair the better. Try to get lift from the root by holding it up and pressing the dryer close to the root (being careful not to burn yourself)

• Once you're dry, use a taming product, such as Alterna Caviar Radiant Smoothing Lotion, to calm the frizz and add shine. Just use a small amount on your hands, rub together and work through from root to tip.

• Grab all your hair and loosely clip to the back and middle of your head. You may want to funk it up if you're wearing an off the shoulder number and pin your hair the opposite side.

• Hold pieces from the 'pin up' section, spritz with hairspray, lightly back comb with you fingers and secure.

• However high, wild or messy you want is up to your imagination.

• If you have a side fringe, rub some wax on your hand (Revlon Professional Shiny Hair Days Star Wax) and lightly rub it into your fringe, ensuring you use a scrunch motion. Then clip it off to the side.
