I’ll show you step-by-step how to achieve the most talked about celebrity hairstyles from glamourous red carpet updos to the hottest catwalk trends...........

Whitney Port

It was a parade of art and fashion at the 2011 Coachella Music Festival - and that was just the hairstyles! But it was reality show star Whitney Port who kept cool with her cute buns - another great summer style that can be dressed up or down.

• Again, with this style, it is best to do it on day-old hair.

• Part your hair in the centre and, using a paddle brush, pull each section up towards the crown and secure with two bands. For the more artistic of you, I like this style with a zig zag parting. Just comb it in before you section off.

• Now you can either twist your ponytails until they form a tight 'rope' effect for a smooth look like Whitney, or for a messy bun look, do the same, then rub your hands up through it.

• Wrap the section around and secure with pins. Add a splash of colour with glittery grips or a head band.
