Dry Skin Hand Cream
This fabulously rich hand cream is enriched with 20% Shea Butter and is probably best kept for night-time application. It really is a heavy-duty cream that needs a little time to sink it but applying a thick layer at night really benefits hands and nails and skin is super-smooth by morning. The shea butter is blended with honey, almond extract and coconut oil, all particularly good at healing and hydrating even the driest skin. This particular cream has a very light ‘milky’ fragrance – almost baby-powder-like, but L’Occitane also have fragranced variations (such as lavender) if you prefer a stronger perfume. Can also be used on dry patches anywhere on the body, elbows particularly, and is great for softening cuticles.

Great for daily use its non-greasy formula nourishes without leaving an oily residue. It has the most fabulous aroma, very sunny and ‘holidayish’ and a little really does go a long way. Apply a tiny amount to the backs of the hands first, then work through to the palms or for a more concentrated application at night time use a thicker layer, massaging into nails and cuticles for a wonderful sheen. Not suitable maybe for those who like a matt hand lotion but great for dry or ageing hands.
