Jennifer Aniston wishes she had Barbra Streisand's voice
For just one day or just one shower! Jennifer Aniston, the popular actress whose gorgeous hair became a 'must have' style in the 90's 'The Rachel', has recently featured in Harpers Bazaar paying homage to her heroine Barbra Streisand. Chris McMillan, Jennifer's hairstylist and friend for nearly 20 years, inspired her to bring her dream to life. "He is, of course, hair obsessed," said Jennifer, "and I'm like a Barbie doll for him. So whenever we'd see great pictures of Barbra or a movie, he'd be saying, 'You have pay homage to her.'"So that's what she did. The photo shoot tookplace in an old Los Angeles theatre, surrounded by iconic images from Barbra's films like Funny Girl and What's Up, Doc?
Getting into character, Jennifer says, "First, putting on the dramatic eye make-up and the wig. Then hearing Barbra's voice booming....." It all came together, complete with the incredible long fingernails. The whole shoot took about 14 hours and Jen was delighted with the results.

Asked how it would work if Jennifer and Barbra were to do a style swop.
Jen says: "I'd put her in jeans and a great wedge and a beautiful blouse and blazer. She's got legs, man. She's got a cute butt. She wears little black tights, she's beautiful."
While both actresses have had great success in comedies and straight roles, and Jennifer has recreated the iconic images of her idol, the Streisand lungs are totally unique. Jennifer would love to be able to belt out the songs that make the hairs stand up on the back of the neck.
"If I had Barbra's voice for just one day," she mused, "Nah, I don't want to be greedy. If I had her voice for just one shower - just a shower's worth - I would be happy!"
