ivory dresses.

Vows: The sunset ceremony started around 6:37 pm and lasted approximately
30 minutes. It included tributes to Kris’ late grandparents and Kim’s late father,
Robert Kardashian. “I so wish my dad could be here today to walk me down the aisle.
But I know in a way he is here, and I feel his loving presence all around me.
I love and miss you dad” read the passage prepared by Kim. Pastor Joel Johnson,
who’s known Kris Humphries since he was a teenager, officiated the traditional
Christian service. He opened by telling those assembled, “This is not just a mere
wedding event” and the ceremony concluded with a prayer.
The rings: £1.3 million - 20.5 carat engagement ring and a 12 carat diamond
eternity band set in platinum, with an estimated price tag of £38,600, both designed
by Lorraine Schwartz. Kourtney’s 20-month-old son Mason was the ring bearer.
Dress: An ivory custom-designed strapless Vera Wang gown with full tulle
skirt, basque waist and hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué on the bodice and
’epic’ train. Shoes by Guiseppe Zanotti.
Flowers: by Mark’s Garden of Sherman Oaks, California, the company responsible
for the beautiful floral designs seen at the Academy Awards Governors Ball for
last 18 years, the Emmy’s, the Golden Globes, and many celebrity weddings. Every
inch of the wedding scene was decorated with all white flowers. In true California-style,
the wedding aisle was lined with citrus trees sprouting hydrangea and of course,
more white roses. Brittny Gastineau caught Kim’s bouquet of all white roses.
Jewellery: a diamond headpiece and diamond drop earrings, also designed
by Lorraine Schwartz.
Hair: Pulled back from her face in a simple updo. Kim’s hairstylist Peter
Savic revealed his inspiration, "We wanted to make her an amazing movie star from
the ’40s, ’50s, ’60s’ like Sophia Loren or Ava Gardner or Elizabeth Taylor." Savic
also confessed that he and Kim did not do any hair trials, but created the style
the morning of the wedding!
Groom’s attire: A white peak lapel tuxedo jacket, black tuxedo pants with
white shirt and white bow tie by Ermenegildo Zegna.
Reception: Following the ceremony, guests moved to a huge marquee decorated
in an Old Hollywood theme by celebrity wedding planner Sharon Sacks, with black
place settings on a black and white tablecloth, in keeping with the black-and-white
colour scheme. The couple changed clothes before entering the reception, Humphries
wore a black Zenga tuxedo and the bride changed into a second Vera Wang mermaid
gown with more Chantilly lace on the bodice and hand-cut organza petals on the
skirt.
The wedding breakfast was created by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck with a starter of buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad, and a choice of hand-formed agnolotti with sweet corn mascarpone and summer truffles, or roast chicken with Yukon Gold potato puree, caramelized brussels sprouts and summer truffles for the main course.
Singer Robin Thicke introduced the couple and sang ‘Angels’ for their first dance. Legendary R&B; band Earth, Wind and Fire performed at the party and DJ Cassidy eventually hit the booth to spin tunes later in the night. It was reported that neighbours eventually called the cops around midnight because the party was a bit too loud for the Montecito set!
Cake: £12,800 6 foot 10-tier black and white chocolate and vanilla cake
from Los Angeles bakery Hansen’s Cakes.
First dance: Soul singer Robin Thicke sang his song Angels for their first
dance.
Honeymoon: They will not be honeymooning until next year.
Number of guests: 450
Cost: While the cost of the wedding would appear to be off the scale, in
actual fact it was seriously offset by the many suppliers clamouring for a slice
of the high profile exposure.
No less than 3 Vera Wang wedding dresses were offered to Kim at £12,900 each. There were also free Lehr and Black wedding invitations, estimated at £6,400. Hansen cake’s generous contribution worth over £12,000. Heavy discount on the £1.3 million engagement ring. Plus US magazine People are thought to have offered £965,000 to photograph the event.
Prior to the wedding the couple are thought to have been paid around £32,000 by Las Vegas’ Tao nightclub to host their ‘His and Hers bachelorette and bachelor parties.

Engagement: May 18 2011, at her home, in front of the cameras. Kris romantically
spelled out the words "Will you marry me?" in red rose petals on the floor of
her bedroom and arranged tea lights in hearts around the room, he then got down
on bended knee and popped the question!
