Wonderful Watercress
Most of us would think of watercress
as an insignificant food item but don't under estimate its health
properties. This simple food contains a family of Phyto-nutrients
called 'isothiocyanates' which are known to fight off harmful free
radicals. Watercress is packed with minerals and antioxidant vitamins
A & C, aswell as chlorophyll, the pigment that gives watercress
its dark green colour.

DID
YOU KNOW?....
That our tea towels
can harbour more germs and bacteria than our kitchen floors? Most
of us don't change our tea towels often enough. Bacteria multiply
rapidly in damp conditions, therefore making tea towels an ideal
breeding ground. Absorbant kitchen paper is a more hygenic alternative,
but if you prefer conventional tea towels and dish cloths, always
change and wash frequently. |
