Lets go to the beach

You want that ‘just stepped off the beach’ perfect sexy hair for this summer? It’s simple!

Whether your hair is thick, fine, straight, wavy or curly it’s easy to get those luscious Shakira locks. After shampooing (only use conditioner if you absolutely need it) towel dry your hair.

Use a mousse – preferably for curls or waves and squirt a golf ball sized amount into your hands. Using a comb, apply the mouse all through and comb through to ends.
Section your hair off as easily as you can. The sections can be different sizes to give your hair a more natural look. Then twist you hair away from your face and keep going until it begins to roll in on itself. Like the 90s classic nightclub style! Secure it into a tight bun and repeat it for each of your sections. Spray with either a good sea salt spray or gel spray then blow dry. I always use a high heat but low power and concentrate on each section until they’re dry. How long you leave your hair up depends on how curly you want it. Separate the sections with your fingers and scrunch in with some more mousse or sea salt spray. It’s good to do this bit while your head is upside down to add body. A good tip is to add a mist of water throughout the day to keep your curls fresh.

If you do want to invest a bit more into them try a good curling serum or product before styling. Grab your bikinis and give it a go! By Hannah Mlatem
