Summer Loving
IT’S hard not to write a post related to summer when you have beautiful weather like today! It’s not only your skin you have to worry about protecting in the sun – your hair needs protection too. The better you protect your hair from the sun, sea and chlorine the better your hair colour will last and the better condition your hair will stay in. So invest in an excellent range of hair products designed for sun damage or to strip chlorine. Give your hair a holiday too and ditch your blow dryer and straighteners and go for the beach, surfer chick style hair. A new product on the market that’s gaining a great reputation is Salt Spray for that 'just stepped out of the sea look'. This product is great for giving you texture and sexy movement while bulking up your hair and giving it plenty of guts. Also, we start to bring down our summer wardrobe and buy nice new things to decorate our clothes – well don’t forget well placed accessories can transform your hairstyle.
Invest in summery clips, hair bands, glitter grips and even fascinators. There’s a real boho feel about this summer with shops already stocking up on Glastonbury style hippy flower head bands. These look great whether you’re at a festival or beach. There’s no better protection against fading hair colour than a fashionable scarf tied around your head. Plus chunky headbands are a great way to cover up growing roots if you’re lucky enough to be away for a few weeks.
