If
you’re looking for some gorgeous lip glosses
this summer, you could do worse than look
at L’Oreal’s Glam Shine range.
It’s a fabulous range of really great colours
which will suit practically everyone, no
mater what your skin tone. They also feel
pleasant on the lips, not too sticky and
none of those silly flavours or aromas.
I also found that for glosses they last
quite well too and don’t dry the lips at
all. I’m quite fussy with lip products –
I really hate drying, staining formulas
as they can damage the delicate skin area
of the lips but these felt really moisturizing
without feeling greasy.
And wow what a shine, if its shiny, red-carpet
glosses you want then these are for you.

It
looks like Boots have done it again!
When they launched their Protect and Perfect
range it had staggering sales figures and
the new formula just recently launched looks
set to be an even greater success.
The range covers all your moisturizing needs,
from day cream to more advanced night time
serums – all targeting the signs of ageing.
The whole range has a really nice texture
and is readily absorbed into the skin. For
a High Street brand, this is serious skincare
and is priced accordingly.
Ask to try it in store before investing and
remember all face products should actually
be tried on the face. It’s useless to try
a moisturizer on the back of the hand as the
skin is so difference on both areas. |
Always try moisturizer along the jawbone
from ear to chin and wait at least half
an hour before purchasing if you can. It’s
only then that you will know if it’s worth
a try for you. For sensitive skins a good
place to test any face product is on the
skin in the crook of your arm, any drying
or itching means leave it alone, try another
instead.
Watch out for the great offers and vouchers
that Boots do on certain skincare products,
they really can save you a fortune.

There
seems to be a greater range of self-administered
eye products around
at the moment. The counters are simply
groaning with products for dry eyes, tired
eyes, sore eyes, itchy eyes – it’s an
absolute minefield knowing which one to
choose.
Most of these remedies are useful in minor,
temporary problems but if you are regularly
suffering from dry or sore eyes you should
always get it checked out. A condition
called ‘dry eye’ is quite common and not
as innocent as it sounds.

|
Permanently dry eyes need help and if
left, can cause real discomfort and
eventually pain. Your optician can look
for ‘dry eye’ very simply and recommend
suitable drops for this condition, so
if you find yourself constantly buying
these generic products, get your eyes
checked with an optician just to be
sure.
