With
the change in the weather suddenly
upon us don't forget that beauty starts
with a beautiful skin. Skin really hates
dramatic changes in temperature so going
from centrally heated rooms into bitter
cold winds will play havoc with any exposed
skin, including the hands and neck. We
can protect some areas by wearing scarf's
and gloves but a really good quality moisturizer
is essential at this time of year.
No matter what your skin type is, putting
a barrier between you and the elements
will always work wonders. For all skin
types Decleor Hydra Floral cream is superb-
really hydrating without being greasy
it's a fabulous salon brand moisturizer
that's worth every penny.
If you are on a budget though that's no
excuse for leaving your face unprotected.
For very little money indeed you could
protect your face, hands and anywhere
else with Johnson's baby moisturizing
cream. Really gently and delicate this
is a super little cream that hydrates
and protects and leaves the skin really
softened.
So whatever your favourite brand be vigilant
and don't leave home without that layer
of protection.

In
the fun up to Christmas many of
us will be desperately trying to get our
nails into good shape. Many of us have
lied to regret constant application of
acrylics and are trying to remedy the
damage, some of us just have weak nails
in general or you may be trying to grow
them for the first time. Whatever the
condition of your nails at the moment
it's always possible to improve them.
You may want to try an improving formula
from on of the big Company's, such as
OPI or Pro Strong, but whatever stage
your nails are at they will benefit from
moisturisation. We all know that skin
needs moisture but nails need it too.

Massaging
the nails at bedtime with agood quality
product will really improve them, helping
to prevent brittleness and peeling and
massage promotes heat which in turn promotes
growth. (That's why hair and nails grow
faster in the summer months).
Try massaging with Liz Earles Super concentrate,
which will also really help with cuticle
damage, or one of the hand creams from
the Avieno range which is especially suitable
for sensitive or irritated skins.
Even in you're not a polish wearer, a
coat of clean varnish will protect from
the elements and at this time of year
wearing gloves is essential for keeping
moisture locked into the nails.
If you start now your nails should have
improved enough to really show off some
of the fab colours around in time for
those Christmas parties.
