Many psychologists are in agreement that colour can affect
our daily moods and even goes so far to suggest that what
we wear and which colours we choose in our homes can greatly
affect our outlook on life.
Experts call this colour therapy, the theory being that we
absorb energy from each colour that travels around our body
via the nervous system. If all that sounds over-dramatic then
put it to the test. Examine your wardrobe and pick out the
outfits that you feel good in. Would you say the colours reflect
your personality? Think about your
favourite
room in your house or your least favourite! Do you feel the room
actually creates a feeling of well-being in you, or does it cause
you to feel chaotic or even bad tempered.
Try wearing your favourite colour, preferably next to the face,
for a week and see if you notice how you deal with all that life
throws at you. Do you feel that the colour had a positive effect
on you?

Bottles
and Lotions
Most women have about 50 different bottles of Lotions - and
use about 5.
Have a girlie get-together where you all pool your products
and pamper yourselves. It's great fun and it'll get rid of
all those creams you never remember to use, freeing space
in your bathroom cupboard.
Helping
Hands
'When hands get cold, the blood circulation slows down and
the skin can become dry and crepey,' explains Susan Gerrard
of the Natural Nail Company. 'The skin on the back of the
hands if fragile and thin with few sebaceous glands.
Neglect can quickly leave hands looking withered and aged.
The secret is to treat them as you would your complexion'
she advises.
