We
all know that October is Breast
Cancer Awareness month
and lots of us have been taking
part in fundraising activities.
But its not only fun-runs and
coffee that helps to raise cash.
If your short on time or the ability
to take part in a physical event,
why not consider adding a few
items to your shopping list that
have particular links to supporting
Breast Cancer Month.
Asdas
Tickled Pink campaign has turned
a number of your favourite products
pink! Well, just the packaging
actually, but look out for Aero
Bubbles in a cute pink wrapper,
I Cant Believe Its Not Butter,
Bold Washing Powder, Tropicana
Fruit drink and many more items.
Place them in your basket at the
normal price and Asda will make
a donation to the charity. OK
Magazine will have a Pink cover
for the month and 20% off its
sale price will be donated.
The
gorgeous 2011 pin badges-a glitter
ribbon or glitter heart, will
be on sale at Dorothy Perkins,
BHS, La Senza and other retail
outlets.
Spa
brand Elemis have a beautiful
Think Pink Beauty Kit which would
make a fabulous birthday or Christmas
gift with a considerable donation
going to Breast Cancer Care.
Palmers Cocoa Butter will be sporting
pink packaging for its body lotion
and donating 30p for every bottle
sold.
At this time of years everybody
needs a Chapstick-buy their Special
Edition Twinpack in Cherry and
20p from each sale will be donated.
Even DIY buffs are catered for
with a fun and funky pink drill/driver
by Makita which launches this
week. £5 per sale is being donated-perfect
prezzy for girls who are handy
around the house.
If
youre in or around London, tickets
are available for the magical
Christmas Carols by Candlelight
concert on 5th December in Knightsbridge.
With seasonal readings by celebrities
and wine, minced pies and chestnuts
in the church courtyard it will
be a night to remember. Ticket
price £30.
Planning
a wedding? Well Breast Cancer
Care have a new venture into wedding
favours, which consist of a pin
and place card per guest with
silver lettering letting the guest
know that a donation has been
made to Breast Cancer Care to
mark the occasion.
So even if you have been too busy
to do something big this year,
then do a few small things to
show you care this month as little
things really can make a big difference!
