SUNGLASSES

During the festive season one of the most stressful things can be organising the food. We either panic and over-buy or run out of just the one essential thing we really need.

Whilst shopping for fresh food must of course wait until nearer the time, we can however, save ourselves from some of the pressure by getting in all
the non-consumable items we will probably need, rather than leave them to a time when we need all our wits about us to stock our fridges.

It’s a good idea to write a list of all the extras you might need and add a few to your basket between now and Christmas. Here are some ideas you might like to consider.

• Kitchen towels
• Cooking foil
• Cake cases
• Greaseproof paper
• Matches
• Dishcloths
• Serviettes
• Cocktail sticks
• Washing up liquid
• Clingfilm
• Paper plates
• Hoover bags

Another good idea is to shop for non-fresh items ie tea, sugar, coffee etc a week early and possibly on a late night excursion when the supermarket will be less busy, allowing you to concentrate purely on the big necessities only on your last visit.

If you usually internet shop for groceries don’t forget to check last delivery dates and remember that some things may need to be ordered in advance.
