Group Re-creates Celebrity Cuts in Honour of National Hair Day
You know you've made it as a true celebrity when you find yourself immortalised
as a Lego character! How great would it be to step out of the salon and have your
hairstyle stay in place as you run to the car before the wind or rain designs
a new look! Lego celebs have perfect hair and makeup, fixed expressions and wrinkle
free skin ...... no change there then!
The trademark beehive of Grammy award winning warbler, Amy Winehouse, has been
voted as the number one celebrity LEGO haircut according to the British public,
bringing a whole new meaning to the term 'LEGO' hair.
To celebrate National Hair Day this year, respondents were asked to nominate those
celebrity hairstyles they'd most like to see on a LEGO minifigure. The soulful
songstress took the top spot closely followed by the barnet of fellow singing
sensation Lady GaGa!
The distinctive frohawk of The A-Team's Mr T was third, and Goldenballs', Mr David
Beckham's, ever-changing hairstyle placed fourth, followed by the bleach blond
peaks of X Factor twins Jedward and the glossy bouffant of the shows glamorous
mentor, Cheryl Cole.
Other celebrity mops in the top ten include those of pop legends Bob Marley and
Tina Turner; comedian Russell Brand's backcombed bed hair; and in stark comparison,
the sleek coiffure of hottie of the moment, Justin Bieber.

Posh and Becks were named the top celebrity couple whose hairstyle the public
most wanted to see immortalised in LEGO. Whilst when it came to VIPs, the blonde
mop of the bumbling Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, pipped the traditional bouffant
of our head of state, Her Majesty The Queen, to the post and David Cameron didn't
even get a look in.
For those Twilight fans, RPatz' quiff beat the luscious locks of his arch nemesis,
Taylor Lautner, making it one nil to the Vampires and our favourite Hollywood
hairdo just crying out to be given the LEGO treatment? Johnny Depp of course,
with Jennifer Aniston hot on his heels despite recently revealing that she hated
her famous 'Rachel' do which inspired millions of copy cat haircuts across the
globe.
