UKHairdressers
had a super day recently, attending the Cosmopolitan Beauty Awards at
Quaglino's in London. Combined with the Cosmo Girl Kiss of Approval
Beauty Awards - it was a red carpet event where the stars of the show
came in shapely bottles, voluptuous jars and shiny packaging. The Editorial
and Readers' choice products were judged and the winners announced to
the waiting audience.
The Beauty Awards are endorsed by celebrity judges and also judged by
industry experts. Over 115 products across 20 different categories.

The editorial
and industry judges had this to say:
Louise Court, Editor, Cosmopolitan:
“For the last month, I have been pouting, sniffing, primping, smoothing
and protecting my skin and hair with this year’s short-listed products.
I couldn’t wait to reveal the winners!”
Celia Duncan, Editor, Cosmo Girl!:
“I’ve been looking forward to this all year and have loved the judging
process. It’s brilliant to see that teens are seriously being catered
for, with more and more products created with their specific needs in
mind.”

Cosmopolitan: “Judging the Awards has been a huge but satisfying task.
The quality of this year’s short-listed products was outstanding and
I’m thrilled to present our readers with the very best of the best.”
Daniel Sandler, Makeup Artist: “I’ve
really enjoyed being a Cosmo Beauty Awards judge – trying out all these
wonderful products on myself and a fair few friends. In fact, I’ve totally
rejuvenated my make-up kit with all my new and exciting favourites.”
Beverley C, Hairstylist: “I absolutely
loved judging the Cosmo Beauty Awards. Hours and hours of testing have
given me a great insight into every product and brand, and the emotion
and passion behind each one – it’s really fascinating.”
Vaishaly, Facialist: “I was flattered
to be asked to judge these Awards and, as a total beauty junkie, it
was a great opportunity to put my knowledge to the test! I’m always
