Fashionista
Victoria Beckham must be laughing all the way to the bank, after being
paid an estimated £70,000 to star in the hit American show "Ugly Betty".
Her cameo role, in an episode called "Nice Day for a Posh Wedding", is
perfect for Victoria - she gets to dress up in designer clothes, dance
on tables and really let her hair down.
Posh stars as bridesmaid to Wilhelmina (Vanessa Williams) the villain
of the series, who is marrying Bradford Meade (Alan Dale).

Just
released pictures show Victoria in a curve hugging Vera Wang dress and
many other designer creations. It was a role made in heaven - with no
problem getting into character as Posh plays herself.
Victoria met up with Eric Mabius, who stars as Daniel Meade, at an awards
ceremony in London. He was immediately sure she would be ideal for a walk-on
role in the series and the rest as they say, is history.
A source said: "Victoria had a blast filming - and everyone loved having
her on." He added: "Obviously she's a fashion expert herself, so she fitted
right in at Mode."

The award winning programme is one of the most popular on US television
and is fast developing a cult following over in the UK. Contrary to the
somewhat disappointing viewing figures for Posh in her "Welcome to America"
programme, which was cut from a six-part mini-series to a one-off special
after the broadcaster NBC decided there wasn't enough material. At least
by appearing in "Ugly Betty", the audience ratings are guaranteed.

Surrounded
by cameras and media attention, Posh was in her element filming for "Mode"
and really posed with some serious attitude! She must be hoping that this
cameo role will kick start an acting career after the Spice Girl reunion
tour.
