PRODUCT REVIEW: SEDUSA HAIR CURL DIFFUSER
Be a Beach Babe with the
Sedusa
We’ve
all spent the last few seasons striving to achieve that
smooth, sheer straight look! Sooner or later, curls
are going to be back in style and instead of reaching
for the curling tongs there is a fun alternative. Women
of all ages can now get beach babe waves, glamour puss
curls and funky kinks with a revolutionary new gadget!
The Sedusa, which not only creates perfect curls quickly
and healthily is helping to build a business empire
to rival hair giants GHD and is out to stop the nation
damaging their hair! |
|
The product, a stylish dome design, has already had celebrity
interest, exceeded sales expectations and is predicted to
be the next hair craze for women everywhere. It has been featured
on GMTV, UK Living, Clothes Show Live and in Black Hair and
Beauty Magazine.
Created by Antony Popadich, a professional stylist with over
20 years experience in cutting and styling hair who saw a
giant gap in a market obsessed with straight hair. He said:
“Three years ago, many would have laughed at the thought of
curly hair coming back into fashion as the nation became obsessed
with straighteners. However beautiful natural looking curls
are one of the hottest trends for this year and people
want
to create long wavy tresses and loose spiral styles.”
The futuristic deep bowl design enables the user to
place their hair inside the bowl whilst drying. This
benefits the hair by drying it quickly, reducing the
exposure to heat and helping the hair stay in place
for longer. These factors have earned the Sedusa high
praise from women’s nationals including Marie Claire.

Q: Why
use Sedusa over other methods of curl enhancement?
A: Conventional Diffusers
were invented to aid scrunch drying hair, which today may
make hair appear dry and dated. Straightening irons and curling
tongs are fiddly, time consuming and may cause heat damage
to the hair, with the additional challenge of reaching the
back of your hair. Heated rollers or bendies are also fiddly
and time consuming and may create a dated style. Perms are
inflexible and may damage the condition of the hair when combined
with hair colouring.
Q: What
heat setting should I use on my hairdryer?
A: Hair Dryers can
reach extremely high heats; therefore the manufacturers recommend
that when using a Sedusa diffuser, dryers should be used at
the lower heat setting. Sedusa must only be used with professional
rated hair dryers built for connection to a 230 Volts A.C.
supply. Dryers recommended for use with the Sedusa include:
WAHL AF3400, Babyliss Pro Speed 2000 and all Parlux hair dryers.
The Sedusa diffuser is made from high quality, long lasting
material, which is translucent allowing you to see hair during
use and prevent over drying.
Q: Which
products do you recommend I use with my Sedusa?
A: Sedusa works extremely
well with Paul Mitchell Round Trip, Fudge Skrewd, Wella System
Professional Hyper Curl and Joico Curl Revitaliser.
Q: Does
Sedusa work with all hairdryers?
A: The Sedusa Diffuser
is designed to fit most professional hairdryers. The rubber
harness prevents the Sedusa from falling off your drier during
use or breaking when you push your drier in.
Q:
Is Sedusa suitable for Afro or mixed race hair?
A: Sedusa provides
excellent results on mixed race hair when used with a curl
defining product to help prevent frizz, however results on
afro hair are limited.
Q:
Will Sedusa work on Hair Extensions?
A: Yes, the results
on 100% Human hair extensions are fabulous. However, we do
not recommend you use Sedusa on man made hair extensions.
Since going into production last year the Sedusa has frequently
sold out from its exclusive distribution network, prompting
production to move to Chester and upgrade manufacturing numbers.
The Sedusa Hair Diffuser retails at £39.75.
