There's
lots of hot entries for this year's awards and we have some great
collections to preview from six of the talented finalists.
An amazing amount of hard work goes into producing the right 'look', but
it's also about the fun and buzz of creating something really special.
The final will be held on Monday 26th November 2007
at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

Gary
Russell
The Chapel - Tunbridge Wells
FINALIST - SOUTHERN HAIRDRESSER OF THE YEAR
|
"The
total image was created to achieve a very nude effect so that the concentration
was fully on the artistry of the hair. Sometimes the clothing can give
you a false imagery - you can look at it and put an era on the collection.
I wanted to create something that was timeless and have the hair steal
the eye first rather than what they wear."
says Gary Russell

and Winter herald a military tribal attitude with a beauty that is dark
and strong. Hair is androgynous and sexy, rounded and severe, sleek and
powerful; it's a new season's update for an army of classical cuts and
colours."
says Tim Lawton
