Sheila
welcomed Patrick to the stage and the audience embarked
on a journey of glamour and glitz spanning over 20 years.
An opening DVD showed a dazzling montage of Patrick's past
collections and performances, leading up to his most recent
work - the Gold Collection. Patrick spoke of his early days
in |
London
and how from an appearance at the Clothes Show Live he decided
to specialise in long hair work. Patrick then went on to introduce
the team he has worked with for all those years - Business Partner
Sue Callaghan, Patrick Cameron School and Merchandise Co-Coordinator,
Marco Everard and Art Director and the person responsible for
the stunning couture gowns that play such a large part in every
Patrick Cameron presentation, Marco Erbi.
Patrick went on to present a selection of models, demonstrating
how to create the most beautiful hair in an instant from his previous
collections including Ladies Who Lunch, Provocateur, Arts & Crafts,
Tango, Visionaire, Red Carpet, Bohemian Revolution, Global Tribe
and Prestige. In an intimate question and answer section, Patrick
really let his audience get to know him and shared with them his
passion and vision. He charmed guests with takes of his career,
his private sketchbooks and how he creates his collections from
single inspiration to a finished look. Sheila went on to read
a touching tribute from industry icon Joshua Galvin who unfortunately
couldn't attend the party, "I personally regard Patrick as the
most talented and thoroughly genuine person and he has maintained
this quality throughout the whole time I have known him. Congratulations
and have a great night." |

A
fitting close to the evening was when Patrick recreated one of the
looks from his new bridal book, 'My Bridal Album For Your Perfect
Day". Breathtakingly beautiful, the model showcased Patrick's flair
and expertise and with the 9 previously presented models they took
their final bow to rapturous applause from the audience. A thoroughly
enjoyable evening where old and new friends got together to celebrate
a strong partnership and an inspirational career.
