What
a relief to see the sun again! Spring
has been a little late in arriving
this year and many of us have had
our fair share of downpours and high
winds, but with any luck, better weather
is on the way.
It can be a little tricky to organize
your wardrobe at this time of year
though - I find I need a raincoat
in the morning, a light jacket in
the afternoon and a wool coat by evening!

I can tell that it's definitely warmer
though as I've put away the fleeces.
I don't know where I'd be in winter
without a fleece jacket, I live in
them in the cold weather and need
one in every colour possible. But
I've swapped them now for a couple
of the great safari-style jackets
that are everywhere at the moment.
I love the khaki and stone colours
that are around just now, they're
so versatile and go with practically
everything. For some reason I can't
wear the colour blue - it doesn't
suit me in any shade whatsoever, but
if it's a favourite of yours there
are some fabulous turquoises and petrol
blues on the high street, perfect
if you're taking an early holiday
this year.
One colour I do wear well though and
I'm pleased to see its return is apple
green. Again, for reasons unknown,
I seem to suit all shades of green,
especially the apple and lime shades
of which there are plenty around at
present, and I have definitely got
my eye on a beautiful peach-skin jacket
in the softest pale green and it's
a must-buy for me! |

If
you associate the smell of patchouli
with
the student population then think
again. Patchouli oil was really popular
with students years ago but it tended
to be heavy and overpowering, but
these days it's found in much more
subtle fragrance combinations and
it really is a sensual yet uplifting
essence.
My favourite combination of the oil
is when its mixed with damask rose
fragrance - a really sultry , feminine
yet musky blend that is simply gorgeous.
I can honestly say that I get more
compliments, from both men and women,
when I wear this perfume than any
other.
If you'd like to try a really subtle
blend of these fragrances check out
the Liz Earle Energizing Body Range.

The
Energizing Body Wash is delightful,
but my absolute favourite is the hip
and thigh gel ( which can actually
be used all over the body to firm
and tone) it's quite simply the most
wonderful smell on earth.
In fact I wish Liz would bottle it
as a perfume as I for one would be
first in line for a dozen! And friends
I've recommended it to report an increase
of 'interest' from their partners!
So beware! |

Smart
Buy
- if you're not a coloured-varnish
wearer, you could do worse than
try a cute little range of clear
and 'french manicure' type shades
from the really inexpensive Boots
|
Natural
Collection range. Crystal Clear
is exactly what it says and Peach
Manicure is an almost clear with
a hint of peach which makes the
nails appear really healthy. Fairly
quick drying and easy to apply they
are ideal for beginners and at under
£2 a bottle they are really good
value for money.
